Mobile AMA Releases V-Code (Video Code) for Fast 2D Barcode Download

College Park, MD, December 5th, 2006 – MobileAMA, an Applied Media Analysis company, announces the launch of V-Code (Video Code), a product that allows data transfer to camera phones through a dynamic visual code.

People all over the world are using their camera phones to read 2D barcodes to connect their devices to the physical world. In Asia nearly 80% of cell phone users use QR Codes regularly to link to web addresses or phone numbers, however QR Codes are limited by the amount of information they contain. V-Codes allow users to download large files presented visually on any TV, monitor, flat panel device, LCD, CRT, or movie screen.

“The opportunities for content providers who desire new ways of reaching users are endless,” said David Doermann, Mobile AMA’s President, “with V-Code users can download ringtones, small applications, or even movie trailers presented in the physical world.” Visit the Mobile AMA website to see a video of this new technology.

Mobile AMA’s patent pending technology allows mobile content providers to encode data and present it visually. Users can now download more content quickly and reliably without cables, networks, or data fees, by simply pointing the camera at a V-Code.
